Let me share a small part of this experience my horse gave me: I was training with him late in the afternoon, it was getting dark and I wasn’t really focussed on the training. As I walked up to him to give him a treat, he changed his demeaner from training to soft and gentle. I sat on my knees and he came to stand between me and the drive way. This whole moment lasted for ages even though I didn’t realise it at that time, where the air was calm, the horse’s breathing slow but with huffs in between. The whole time he stayed between me and the outside world, sniffing me and showing stress releases the whole time.
This does so much to you as a person, the protection, the honesty and forced to be in the here and now. That is so pure, only an animal, and some humans, can give you that.
This all gives a beautiful opening in to the mind of children and grown-ups.
This is what we try to achieve with the coaching sessions. A moment of freedom within your own environment and within your own body, someone who will give you that safe space to create a moment of pureness and will let you come to peace with yourself and your emotions. Coaching can develop in different ways and won't always be, next to, on or with the horse. This all depends on the question you come to us with, following your question we will see which path to take in your journey.
A safe space for you is important to us and after your intake meeting we will make a plan about what that safe space is to you and where that safe space will be.
